Year 3 have been studying about the Romans and Celts this term. To finish off the work that they had been doing, the children and the staff had a day of dressing up and fun activities.

The Year 2 Maths workshop was held on Sunday 31st January. A big thank-you to the Year 2 teachers who ran this workshop for parents and to Miss Gallagher for providing the useful tips which complemented the workshop. I hope the workshop has enabled you to pick up some strategies on how you can help your child at home over the coming months.

QIS was alive with the sound of music on the 3rd February. Well done to the boys and girls who practised so hard and sang so beautifully. It was a terrific show, many thanks to Miss Hoyles and Mrs Fragu for all their help to make it a success.

May I thank parents for their generosity on “Crazy Hair Day”, which was held across Primary and Early Years on Thursday 28th January as a charity fund-raiser for disaster relief in Haiti. The event enabled us to make our young children aware of the less fortunate whilst raising a magnificent cash sum.
