It was a day to remember for Q.I.S. on Wednesday 10th March as the year 3 and 4 boys football team competed against 13 other schools and returned from Dukhan with winners’ medals and a trophy.

After playing 6 games to get to the final, Q.I.S. had to play Doha English Speaking School in the final. The game was very close with both teams going close, especially Ahmed Al-Obaidli hitting the bar from his own half. Q.I.S. went ahead in the second half with an excellent finish from Ahmed Bilal. Alex Hogan and Moustafa Azzam were solid in defence all day, but after a mix up with Sultan Al-Muhannadi in goals, Doha English Speaking School managed to score with the last kick of the ball to take the final into penalties. Q.I.S. kept their cool and won 2-0 on penalties to win the cup.
