Qatar International School

Quran and Islamic studies are offered to all muslim children from Reception to Year 6.

The Islamic education deals with the rituals and beliefs in the muslim religion. It teaches the students about the Muslim prophet, how to pray, and other aspects central to an Islamic way of life.

Quran studies teaches students how to read the Quran correctly, to memorise chapters, and how to understand them.

Our aim is to teach students good morals and to introduce them to their religion. The curriculum is prescribed by the Ministry of Education, who produce the text books and assignments.

Assessment is continuous through regular testing and end of term examinations. Feedback on progress is given to parents regularly through notes in the students' homework books, test results, meetings with parents and the school's formal end of year reports.
