Qatar International School

Contrary to popular belief, the Villaggio mall does not have a river, and as a result, during the February half-term, 28 students and 3 staff went looking for one in Spain. 

Why were we looking for a river?  Well, after the popular and successful trips to Iceland and Italy, and with close to 60 QIS students studying Geography at exam level, we felt it was time to actually get our feet wet!  Fortunately, Doha had larger supplies of Wellington boots than any of us ever imagined, and most stayed surprisingly dry!  Armed with our foul-weather clothing we boarded the plane to a European mid-winter and days filled with icey water and wind.
The full details of the trip will be revealed in the upcoming yearbook, but needless to say students and staff combined to have a wonderfully enjoyable educational experience.
